Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Finisher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, polishing, and finishing metal components to meet quality and aesthetic standards. You will play a key role in ensuring products are free from defects and ready for final use or delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Grind, sand, polish, and buff metal surfaces to achieve required finishes
Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from metal parts
Operate finishing tools and equipment such as grinders, polishers, and sanders
Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality and specification standards
Apply coatings or treatments where required (e.g., painting, plating preparation)
Follow technical drawings, job sheets, and work instructions
Maintain tools and equipment, reporting any faults or maintenance needs
Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations
Keep work area clean, organised, and free from hazards
Requirements & Qualifications
Previous experience in metal finishing, fabrication, or a similar role preferred
Familiarity with hand and power tools used in metal finishing
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings or instructions
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Awareness of health and safety practices in a workshop environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift and handle metal components
Comfortable working in a manufacturing or workshop environment
