Software Test Analyst

Software Test Analyst – Chorley - hybrid
ISEB, Agile, SQL, Testing Lifecycle, Billing/CRM software

This highly successful organisation are looking for a Software Test Analyst to join an established software development team. The successful Software Tester / QA Engineer will be joining a team of developers working on the testing and delivery of applications and sites within various web frameworks. The Tester will also have good SQL Skills and will be keen to build on their experience within databases. For this role Testers must have Energy and Billing experience.

Skills & Responsibilities for the Tester / QA Analyst:

Executing test scripts within the schedules agreed and report back on product quality. 
Plan, carry out and document the testing of software
Work within development scrum teams using agile methodology
Collaborate with BA’s
Work closely with other areas of the business to understand the system’s functional and non-functional requirements. 
Communicate significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provide recommended process improvements. Job Requirements 

Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and QA’s role in it 
Strong experience working in the Energy/Utilies sector with knowledge of billing/CRM
A passion for software quality and the testing process 
Experience with SQL and databases 
Experience working with Billing & Payments.
Experience working with XML data files.Desirable Skills

Experience in Test Automation
Database management
