The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor with Aspire People, you'll be responsible for managing classes and ensuring students are engaged with their work during teacher absences. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with strong communication skills who are keen to support students' learning in a classroom environment.
We offer both day-to-day supply and longer-term assignments, so you can choose work that fits with your availability and schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage students in the classroom during the absence of the regular teacher.
* Ensure students are following the set work and completing tasks as instructed.
* Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
* Assist students with questions related to the work set and provide support where necessary.
* Report any issues or concerns regarding student behaviour or progress to the appropriate staff.
* Ensure health and safety protocols are followed at all times.

What We're Looking For:
* A proactive, reliable individual who enjoys working with young people.
* Strong classroom management skills.
* The ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively.
* Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
* Experience in a classroom setting is desirable, though not essential.
* A current DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
* Flexibility to work across a variety of schools and subject areas.
