How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: Technology Delivery Director
    Reporting to: COO
    Location: Hybrid, mix of office work, client sites and home working
     
    Role Purpose
    TXP is a dynamic, fast-paced technology sales and delivery organisation on an ambitious growth journey. We deliver outcome-based solutions across Software Development, Data & AI, Microsoft Services (including Azure), AWS and Cyber Security. As we scale, we are committed to raising the bar on delivery excellence, ensuring our clients receive exceptional value and outcomes.
     
    The Technology Delivery Director is a key senior leadership role within TXP, responsible for setting and executing the strategy for how we deliver technical solutions. You will work closely with Sales leaders and Delivery teams to design, position, and deliver innovative solutions that address complex business challenges, particularly within the Financial Services Sector and Public Sector. Your role will also include developing value propositions, author thought leadership content (blogs, white papers), and representing the company at industry events. You will drive to implement world class best practice, market differentiation and the use of embedded use of AI across all technology practices.

    This is a strategic leadership role for someone who thrives on empowering teams, driving innovation, and making a measurable impact across the organisation.

    Key Responsibilities
     
    Strategic Leadership
    •            Set and execute the strategy for delivering technology solutions across Application Modernisation, Data & AI, Microsoft Azure and Business Applications, and Cyber
    Security Practices.
    •            Develop and implement delivery strategies that align with business objectives and evolving client needs.
    •            Collaborate with Sales, Product, and other business units to develop compelling value propositions and go-to-market strategies.
    •            Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organisation remains at the forefront of innovation.
     
    AI & Innovation
    •            Champion the adoption and embedded use of AI and automation across all technology practices to drive efficiency, differentiation, and measurable client outcomes.
    •            Ensure all solutions are designed and delivered using world-class best practices, with a strong focus on security, scalability, and innovation.
    •            Drive continuous improvement and market differentiation through the practical application of AI in technology solutions.
     
    Team Leadership & Development
    •            Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing technology teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and empowerment.
    •            Build and maintain a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth.
    •            Uphold the organisation’s core values and promote a high-performance culture.
     
    Client Engagement & Consultancy
    •            Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term value creation.
    •            Deliver meaningful and measurable outcomes for clients by understanding their business challenges and tailoring solutions accordingly.
    •            Act as a trusted advisor, providing consultancy on best practices, technology trends, and innovative approaches.
     
    Operational Excellence
    •            Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality, compliance (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 27001), and alignment with client expectations.
    •            Ensure operational processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with the organisation’s strategic goals.
    •            Take technical ownership and deliver on commitments, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
    •            Maintain and exceed practice utilisation and bench targets for all practices and report weekly.
     
    Advocacy & Representation
    •            Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums, positioning the organisation as a thought leader.
    •            Develop and author thought leadership content, including blogs and white papers, to showcase expertise and drive market presence.
    •            Advocate for the organisation’s mission, vision, and values both internally and externally.
     
    Skill and Experience 
    •            Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, ideally within Application Modernisation, Data & AI, Microsoft Azure, Business Applications, and Cyber Security.
    •            Demonstrated success in delivering complex technology solutions for clients in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
    •            Deep understanding of world-class delivery methodologies, best practices, and the practical application of AI in technology solutions.
    •            Strong commercial acumen and experience working with Sales and Product teams to develop and position technology offerings.
    •            Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    •            Experience in developing thought leadership content and representing organisations at industry events.
     
    Education
    •            Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
    •            Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure), project management, and cyber security are highly desirable.
