Previous experience working in a residential setting with young people
Flexibility and adaptability
Strong communication skills
PVG scheme registration
Full driving license (preferred)
What will you be doing?
As a Residential Childcare Worker, your day-to-day tasks will involve providing 24-hour care to vulnerable young people. You'll be responsible for ensuring their health, hygiene, and safety, and managing challenging behaviors with appropriate strategies.
Providing 24-hour care, meeting children's health, hygiene, and safety needs.
Managing challenging behaviors using appropriate strategies.
Administering medication and maintaining professional standards.
Assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and supervision of activities.
Supporting educational needs and teaching essential life skills.
