How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

An experienced Electrical Project Manager is required for a 6-month commercial project based in Great Yarmouth. This role is offered on a contract basis, with a competitive day rate ranging from £400 to £450, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of electrical works on a large-scale commercial development. They will coordinate site activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure that all electrical installations are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. A strong focus on compliance with current regulations, quality standards, and health and safety requirements is essential.

Key responsibilities include planning and scheduling project activities, liaising with clients and stakeholders, conducting regular site inspections, and resolving technical or operational issues as they arise. The Electrical Project Manager will also be expected to manage project documentation, track progress against milestones, and provide regular updates to senior management.

In addition, the role will involve managing and distributing project-related communications, including structured mail shots to stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers. This includes preparing clear and professional updates on project progress, planned works, site access requirements, and any disruptions or key milestones. The Electrical Project Manager will ensure that all mail shots are timely, accurate, and aligned with project timelines, helping to maintain transparency and effective communication across all parties. Experience using email distribution systems or CRM-style platforms to coordinate large contact lists and track engagement will be highly advantageous.

Applicants should have a proven track record in managing electrical projects within commercial environments, supported by relevant qualifications and strong leadership skills. Excellent communication, organisational ability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are critical for success in this role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Electrical Project Manager seeking a well-compensated contract role on a dynamic and fast-paced project
