TeacherActive is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Salford to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant for a long-term position.

About the Role:
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support learning across the classroom. You will play a key role in delivering interventions, supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis, and helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience working within a UK primary school
A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable
A strong understanding of the primary curriculum
Experience supporting pupils with varying needs, including SEND
A positive, patient, and proactive approach
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
Delivering targeted interventions to support pupil progress
Assisting with behaviour management and promoting positive learning behaviours
Supporting pupils with additional needs, adapting approaches where required
Helping to maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
