We are currently seeking a passionate and engaging Lecturer of Performing Arts to join a dynamic Further Education college on a temporary basis, starting after the Easter break through to the end of the academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and motivated individual to inspire and develop students across a range of performing arts disciplines within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role:
* Deliver high-quality teaching across Performing Arts programmes (Level 2 and/or Level 3)
* Plan and deliver engaging, practical and theory-based lessons
* Support students in developing performance, creative, and technical skills
* Contribute to rehearsals, showcases, and student productions
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience teaching Performing Arts within an FE setting (or similar)
* A relevant degree or professional qualification in Performing Arts or related field
* A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed) or willingness to work towards one
* Strong industry knowledge and the ability to bring real-world context into lessons
* A passion for student development and creative education
Additional Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
* Availability to commit to the full contract period
