How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Residential Support Practitioner:
    £13.50ph - £15ph dependent on experience (covering unqualified Support Workers through to qualified Senior Support Worker). Plus £50 bonus for sleep-ins.
    £34,416 - £37,440 estimated salary (based on 168 waking hours plus 12 sleep ins per month, usually 2–3 shifts per week)
    Enhancement rates available for overtime and bank holidays.
    About Us:
    We are a growing, forward-thinking children’s residential care organisation with homes across the Southwest, London, and a brand-new multi-home provision in Durham. Our mission is powerful and clear: to help children aged 7–17 rebuild trust, confidence, and hope.
    We work with young people who have experienced loss, instability, or trauma. We don’t define them by their past — we support them to step into their potential. Using trauma-informed, PACE-based practice, we create warm, stable homes where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to grow. This is meaningful work. This is change you can see happen.
    Benefits & Perks:
    At 360 CRS, we look after the people who look after others.
    * Frontline leadership support — you’ll never be left alone to figure it out.
    * Employee Assistance Programme for emotional & wellbeing support.
    * Your Birthday Off — every year, no questions asked.
    * Generous Referral Bonus when you help brilliant people join the team.
    * Wellness Allowance to support your physical & mental health.
    * Extra Annual Leave increasing with service.
    * Donation Match Scheme to back causes you care about.
    * Fully Funded Qualifications (including Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma).
    * Blue Light Card Access for discounts & perks.
    * Access to a Company Vehicle when needed for work.
    * Enhanced Pay for Overtime & Festival Periods.
    The Role:
    You’ll help make a house feel like a home — safe, nurturing, and full of possibility. Your days will include:
    * Being a positive, grounding influence for young people.
    * Building meaningful relationships based on trust.
    * Supporting emotional development, independence, routines, learning & community involvement.
    * Championing safeguarding and positive practice.
    * Working as part of a supportive, reflective team.
    Who You Are:
    If you’re ready to help young people grow, heal, and believe in themselves, we’ll give you everything you need to succeed.
    You’ll thrive here if you are:
    * Compassionate and resilient.
    * A great communicator and team player.
    * Steady in challenging moments.
    * Willing to learn, develop, and reflect.
    Essential skills:
    * Children's residential care experience is preferred for this post. We welcome those with tranferrable skills to apply, also.
    * Full UK driving license.
    * Willingness to work a varied rota including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
    Our Safeguarding Promise:
    Safety is at the heart of everything we do. All roles require safer recruitment checks, enhanced DBS clearance, and ongoing safeguarding training
