    * Leading customer review meetings focused on performance, quality and future opportunities

    * Collaborating closely with engineering, production, planning and quality teams to ensure successful delivery

    * Monitoring order progress and proactively managing risks to delivery schedules

    * Providing accurate and timely updates to customers regarding order status and production schedules

    * Supporting contract review processes to ensure technical and commercial requirements are clearly understood

    * Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and support long-term partnerships

    * Managing and resolving customer queries, concerns or complaints effectively

    * Producing account performance reports, forecasts and maintaining accurate data within internal systems

    * Representing the business professionally during customer visits, audits and meetings

    * Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and delivery performance

What will you bring to the party?

    * Proven experience in an Account Manager role within a manufacturing or engineering environment (essential)

    * Experience working within precision engineering, aerospace, defence or other highly regulated industries is highly desirable

    * Demonstrable experience managing key or strategic customer accounts

    * Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, order lifecycle and delivery coordination

    * Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, production, quality and supply chain teams

    * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

    * A proactive, organised and solutions-driven approach

    * Strong IT skills, including Excel and experience with ERP/CRM systems

    * Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into customer-focused solutions

    * A degree in Business, Engineering or a related discipline is advantageous but not essential
