We’re working with a specialist engineering and manufacturing business in Fareham who are looking to bring in a Visual Inspector to support their quality team.
What’s the role all about?
This is a highly detail-focused role where you’ll be responsible for carrying out first-off and in-process inspections on precision components, ensuring everything meets strict quality standards.
You’ll be working with small parts under magnification, so accuracy and consistency are key.
Key responsibilities
Carry out first-off inspections on precision components
Perform detailed visual inspections using magnification equipment
Identify defects, inconsistencies or non-conformances
Work from engineering drawings and specifications
Support quality and production teams to maintain high standards
Ensure all work meets internal and customer quality requirements
What you’ll need
Background in PCB assembly, electrical assembly or precision manufacturing
Experience working with small components and fine detail
Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Ability to read and follow technical drawings or work instructions
