We’re working with a specialist engineering business in Fareham who are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector to support their Machine Shop on a late shift.
What’s the role all about?
You’ll be responsible for inspecting machined components, using both manual measurement tools and CMM equipment to ensure parts meet exact tolerances and specifications.
This is a key role supporting production and ensuring high-quality output.
Key responsibilities
Inspect machined components within the Machine Shop environment
Operate and programme CMM equipment
Use manual measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers and gauges
Read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances
Identify and report non-conformances
Support continuous improvement and quality standards
What you’ll need
Experience as a Quality Inspector in a machining environment
Strong experience using CMM (essential)
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and tolerances
Experience using precision measuring equipment
Willingness to work late shift

You’re technically strong, detail-focused and confident working with precision components and measurement systems.

Salary description
£16.00 - £17.00 per hour
