TeacherActive is currently seeking reliable and confident Secondary Cover Supervisors to work full-time in supportive secondary schools across Frome. We welcome candidates with a range of subject specialisms, including:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for stability, routine, and valuable classroom leadership experience. Full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you feel confident and successful in the role.
The role:
Supervising whole classes during teacher absence
Delivering pre-planned lessons
Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
Working across a range of subjects at KS3–KS4
Supporting students to stay on task and engaged
This role could be ideal if you:
Have experience working in a secondary school or with young people
Are confident supervising whole classes
Have an English specialism or experience supporting EAL learners
Are an ECT, TEFL, or CELTA qualified teacher looking to gain UK classroom experience
Are available to work full-time
Have strong behaviour management and communication skills
Are adaptable, reliable, and proactive
