How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Natural gas (below and above 7 bar)
    * Hydrogen transmission
    * Carbon dioxide pipelines
    * Wider low‑carbon and energy transition infrastructure
    You'll work as part of a large multidisciplinary engineering group, contributing to projects from early inception through development, construction, operation and decommissioning. Our team supports clients across the full asset lifecycle, delivering safe, efficient and innovative solutions that exceed expectations.
    You'll also have opportunities to work on first‑of‑a‑kind technologies, future fuels and carbon capture projects, collaborating with developers, utilities, government bodies, EPC contractors & OEMs

    What You'll Be Doing
    Typical responsibilities include:

    Developing cost‑effective, practical and innovative engineering solutions to complex pipeline challenges
    Working across feasibility studies, concept design, FEED, value engineering and detailed design
    Preparing pipeline and AGI deliverables, including wall thickness calculations and piping specifications
    Undertaking pipeline routing studies, population density assessments and high‑pressure pipeline diversions
    Collaborating closely with other engineering disciplines to develop integrated designs
    Supporting the development of layouts and 3D models
    Leading and contributing to proposals, bids and multi‑disciplinary project submissions
    Providing technical leadership and guidance across the pipeline and layout discipline
    What You'll Bring
    We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:

    A degree in a relevant engineering discipline
    Chartered Engineer status (or working towards IEng/CEng) with a relevant professional institute
    Strong understanding of IGEM/TD/1, TD/13 and gas network operator addendums
    Experience leading the development of pipeline and AGI engineering deliverables
    Knowledge of national and international codes and standards for plant equipment and piping design
    Experience in pipeline and AGI design, including routing and high‑pressure systems
    Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and contributing to 3D plant models
    Strong understanding of the design process, scope development and engineering calculations
    Experience troubleshooting operational and integrity issues
    Proficiency with Autodesk tools including AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Navisworks and BIM360
    Strong MS Office skills for producing technical reports, specifications, schedules and calculations
    Experience working with clients and contractors with diverse technical and commercial objectives
    Experience with ASME Engineering codes would be advantageous

    Why Join Us
