How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Stock Controller with FLT duties

    £29,000 + company pension and employee benefits

    Neath

    Are you an experienced Stock Controller with strong IT skills and an FLT licence? Are you on the look out for an exciting new role with an industry leader that can boast an excellent working environment and genuine opportunities for progression?     We are currently recruiting for a Stock Controller with FLT experience to join a leading Precision Engineering firm in Neath. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing the movement of raw materials, components, and finished goods within the manufacturing facility.

    As Stock Controller with FLT experience you will:

    Maintain accurate stock records using the company ERP/WMS system.
    Conduct regular cycle counts and annual stock takes, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
    Monitor stock levels and raise purchase orders or replenishment requests to prevent production shortages.
    Ensure correct labelling, storage, and rotation of all stock
    Track and record incoming and outgoing materials, components, and finished goods.
    Coordinate the dispatch of finished goods, ensuring accurate documentation and timely shipment.
    Issue raw materials and components to the production floor in line with manufacturing schedules.
    Produce daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management review.You will need:

    Previous experience in stock control or warehouse management within manufacturing
    Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems
    Strong numeracy and attention to detail
    Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel
