The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have proven experience working as a youth worker or supporting young people in challenging environments
Demonstrate a calm, patient, and positive approach at all times
Be highly skilled in de-escalation techniques and behaviour management
Act as a strong, consistent role model who inspires trust and respect
Show genuine passion for supporting young people with SEND
Be adaptable, proactive, and committed to inclusive education
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting students with a range of additional needs, including social, emotional, and behavioural challenges
Building positive relationships that promote confidence, independence, and wellbeing
Managing and de-escalating challenging situations in a safe and effective manner
Working collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals
Encouraging engagement in learning and personal development
