    Job description

You will be working on-site, investigating buildings and existing structures on projects across London and East Anglia.

Working for an engineering specialist, this is not setting out or a role suitable for those looking for a career in construction.

This trainee would suit someone interested in building surveying, structural engineering, buildings and structures.

Start as a Junior Investigation Engineer and build a career with an employer who will develop your skills. You will be working on a real range of historical and modern buildings, learning how to test, inspect and assess structures. Note-taking, data collection, setting up and using specialist site investigation equipment.

The role would suit someone with a practical or technical background who is interested in buildings and likes working outside and on-site.

BTEC qualification in a Built Environment or Civil Engineering subject would be ideal. More important is your interest in building investigation, your enthusiasm and your willingness to learn.

You’ll be joining a thriving engineering consultancy with work and offices in the UK and abroad.

A business that will encourage your development and invest in your career.

You’ll need a full UK Driving Licence and prior UK work experience. You must be willing to travel to sites in London and East Anglia and also work from their Cambridge office
