Role Overview:
RG Setsquare is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Rig Operator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced trades person to contribute to high-quality work and projects in a supportive, safety-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
They will control the machinery that drills into the ground. This can include handling the drilling rig, the rotary table, mud pumps, and other complex systems that help with the drilling process.
Operators are also responsible for ensuring the equipment is functioning properly. They perform regular checks and maintenance tasks to prevent mechanical failure.
They monitor the drilling process to ensure that everything is running smoothly, checking things like pressure levels, drilling speed, and depth.
Rig operators follow strict safety protocols to minimize the risks of accidents. They must be aware of emergency procedures, including dealing with fires, gas leaks, or equipment malfunctions.Requirements:
Prior traffic Rig Operator experience and valid CPCS/NPORS, A74 ticket, Health & Safety card (taken within the last 2 years) required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
