How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Project Co‑ordinator & CAD (AutoCAD / Adobe PDF Writer) Technician
This is NOT a traditional design engineer position. It is focused on taking existing lift drawings, plans and elevations from CAD, comparing and adapting them to site conditions, and liaising with the client to agree any redesigns or changes.
You will use your ability to read CAD drawings, amend layouts, understand structural openings and interfaces, and talk customers through technical options. You will be the key link between customers, internal teams, and the manufacturing process. You will prepare and submit lift layout drawings, manage the approval process with customers, and ensure lifts are approved for manufacture in line with key project dates.
    Main Responsibilities:
    *
Prepare lift arrangement drawings for customer approval using AutoCAD and/or PDF writer.
    *
Act as a client liaison during the drawing and approval process, responding to technical queries (and seeking specialist support where needed).
    *
Revise drawings to reflect changes during the approval process and once approved for manufacture.
    *
Update the CRM with key contract and progression information and dates.
    *
Approve lift products for manufacture using the Electronic Ordering System (EOS).
    *
Approve other lift products for manufacture via email to suppliers.
    *
Maintain and update Excel databases with contract and progression information.
    *
Maintain and update the library of Typical Drawings for use by the Sales team.
    *
Liaise with customers to ensure approvals are received in time to meet agreed installation dates.
    *
Liaise with the Installation department regarding installation dates and any drawing‑related issues.
    Skills & Knowledge Required:
    *
Technical drawing skills and CAD experience (AutoCAD / Adobe PDF Writer).
    *
Strong communication and negotiation skills; confident dealing with customers.
    *
Knowledge of project management best practices and tools.
    *
Strong organisational skills and ability to balance multiple tasks.
    *
    Understanding of basic engineering principles.
    *
Solid IT skills, especially Microsoft Office.
    Highly Desirable:
    *
Experience in the platform lift industry.
    *
Experience in the construction industry, working with architects and builders.
    Desirable / Transferable Backgrounds:
    *
Stairlifts and mobility/access equipment (incl. through‑floor lifts, hoists) – similar customer base and constraints.
    *
Scissor lifts and other vertical access equipment – good understanding of safety, load, and structural interfaces.
    *
Material handling / conveyors / dock levellers – integrating mechanical equipment into buildings and reading GA drawings.
    *
Industrial doors, shutters, loading bay systems – structural openings, clearances, loads, and site surveys.
    *
Building services / M&E project roles with strong CAD literacy and client‑facing experience – used to plans/elevations and coordination with architects and structural engineers
