We are currently recruiting for a committed SEND TA to join a welcoming and inclusive school in East London. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and help them reach their full potential in a supportive environment.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
Support children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCP targets
Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs and abilities
Support pupils’ emotional regulation, behaviour, and engagement
Encourage independence, confidence, and positive learning experiences

The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working with children with SEND
Patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Good understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
This role is ideal for individuals with experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker, or Youth Worker who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
