How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Compressor Installation Engineer

    Location: Liversedge, WF15

    Salary: Negotiable Depending On Experience

    The Role

    We are seeking a skilled Compressor Installation Engineer.
    You will be responsible for installing, testing, and commissioning a range of vehicle-mounted compressor/generator systems and associated auxiliary components.

    Working within a small, experienced team of engineers, you’ll receive comprehensive product training and ongoing support. Upon completion of your initial training package, you’ll also gain in-house health & safety qualifications.

    About You

    *

    Hold a relevant mechanical qualification (minimum City & Guilds Level 3).

    *

    Have at least 3 years’ experience in a mechanical engineering role.

    *

    Possess experience fitting or working with compressors.

    *

    Have the right to work in the UK.

    *

    Are physically fit and energetic.

    *

    Are willing to work overtime as required..

    Remuneration & Benefits

    *

    Working Hours: 08:00 – 16:30 (Monday to Friday) with regular overtime available.

    *

    Breaks: Two 15-minute paid breaks (morning & afternoon) and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

    *

    Pay: Competitive hourly rate (to be discussed during interview).

    *

    Overtime: Paid at time and a half after 40 hours.

    *

    Overtime Contract Options:

    *

    Option 1: 6:00am – 4:30pm (Mon–Thu) & 6:00am – 2:00pm (Fri)

    *

    Option 2: 8:00am – 4:30pm (Mon–Fri), no overtime.

    *

    Option 3: 8:00am – 4:30pm (Mon–Fri), overtime available by agreement.

    *

    Quarterly Productivity/Performance Bonus (regularly achieved).

    *

    Holidays: 28 days, increasing by up to 5 additional days with length of service.

    *

    Company pension scheme.

    Uniform and specialist tools provided.
