How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    ICT Senior Project Manager – South London / Hybrid – £530 per day (Umbrella)

    A South London Local Authority is seeking an experienced ICT Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of key technology transformation projects. This role will focus on major initiatives including on-premise to cloud migration, network refresh, and rollout of Microsoft productivity tools.
    You will play a pivotal role in driving business change through the successful implementation of robust ICT solutions across both public-facing and back-office services.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead end-to-end delivery of complex ICT projects across a multi-project portfolio
    Manage budgets, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies
    Drive stakeholder engagement across internal teams and external partners
    Oversee supplier and service provider performance
    Support wider Transformation Programme and technical delivery of change initiatives
    Ensure projects are delivered to quality, time, and budget targets
    Provide clear reporting within a formal governance framework
    Essential Experience

    Proven experience delivering large-scale, transformational ICT projects
    Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
    Solid budget and resource management capability
    Experience managing interdependencies across multiple projects
    Skilled in risk, issue, and performance management
    Ability to influence and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
    Experience translating user requirements into effective technical solutions
    Working knowledge of project methodologies such as PRINCE2, MSP or similar
