We are working with a beautful independent prep school in Notting Hill (W10) who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil within the classroom with suspected ASD on a 1:1 basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone patient, calm, and proactive who has experience supporting pupils with communication needs, routines, and emotional regulation. You will be joining a warm and nurturing school community with a strong emphasis on inclusion and individualised support.
Location: Notting Hill, W10
Start Date: 20th April 2026
Role: Teaching Assistant – 1:1 (Year 2)
Contract: Full-time, long term
Hours: 8:30-3:30 (Monday–Friday)
Pay: £(Apply online only) per day
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with suspected ASD
* Support communication, engagement, and social interaction
* Assist with emotional regulation and sensory needs throughout the day
* Help the pupil access daily lessons and classroom activities
* Work alongside the class teacher to follow and adapt individual support strategies
* Create a calm, encouraging and structured learning environment
* Maintain strong safeguarding and behaviour support practices

* Experience supporting pupils with ASD

* Can commit full time from 20th April
