    Job description

    Are you currently looking for a role as a Science Teacher in Hemel Hempstead? Then this might be the job role for you.

    A specialised school in Hemel Hempstead is expanding their doors to welcome pupils in KS4 and are looking for an energetic and passionate mentor which could inspire the bright young mind of the students!

    You'll be leading insightful science lessons in small classrooms of 4-6 pupils while promoting the engagement and understanding of science practices.

    The role of a Science Teacher will involve the implementation of effective and adaptive science lessons, assessing the improvement of students throughout the curriculum. The ideal candidate for this role in Hemel Hempstead, would need to be highly empathic and innovative. Experience in SEN is essential. Experience as a Science Teacher is also essential.

    Key responsibilities as a Science Teacher:

    Deliver insightful science lessons which are engaging for the students
    Adapt teaching materials to meet the diversity of needs within the classrooms
    Keep track of students progress and make parents or senior leaderships aware of significant changes
    Establish a positive relationship with the students and create a sustainable learning environment
    Encourage students to try to achieve their best in scores
    Willing to commute to Hemel Hempstead weekly.
