We are currently seeking an experienced Groundworks Foreman / Supervisor to join a major groundworks project based in Winchester. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established contractor on a large-scale, fast-paced scheme.
The Role:
As a Foreman / Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard. You will manage gangs on site, coordinate with site management, and maintain productivity across all phases of the groundworks package.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise groundworks teams on site
*
Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations
*
Coordinate day-to-day site activities and manage labour and plant
*
Monitor progress against programme and report updates to senior management
*
Maintain quality control and ensure works meet required specifications
*
Liaise with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Groundworks Foreman or Supervisor on large-scale projects
*
Strong background in all aspects of groundworks and civil engineering
*
SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
*
Valid CSCS card
*
First Aid certification (preferred)
*
Excellent leadership and communication skills
