The Role
You’ll be working as part of an experienced site team, carrying out steel erection work on projects across Scotland. This is a hands-on role where safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship are key.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Erecting structural steelwork and occasional cladding
* Off-loading steel and materials safely on site
* Working from technical drawings, bolt lists, and RAMS
* Installing and tightening bolts to required specifications
* Assisting with lifting operations using cranes and other plant
* Operating equipment such as MEWPs, telehandlers, and alloy towers
* Using hand and power tools for drilling, cutting, and fixing
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Following all site Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Steel Erector (or experience in a similar role)
* Good understanding of site safety and steelwork processes
* Experience working with plant and access equipment
* Ability to read and work from drawings
* Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player
Working Hours
37 hours per week
* Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
* Friday: 08:00 - 13:00
