Location: Portsmouth
Salary: £30,000 £34,000 + 20% shift allowance
Shifts: Rotating Double Day Shift
(Earlies 06:0014:00 / Lates 14:0022:00)
We are currently looking for an experienced Paint Prepper to join a busy and well-established operation in Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong eye for detail who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes.
The Role:
As a Paint Prepper, you will be responsible for preparing vehicle bodies to a high standard prior to painting, ensuring all work meets quality and production requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing vehicle bodywork for paint, including sanding, masking and priming
Ensuring all surfaces are clean, smooth and ready for a flawless finish
Working efficiently to meet production targets while maintaining quality standards
Carrying out quality checks on prepared surfaces
Keeping the work area clean, safe and well organised
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in vehicle paint preparation or bodywork prep
Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working a rotating double day shift pattern
