How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Are you technically minded with excellent communication skills and organised ? Do you enjoy speaking to business customers over the phone understanding their needs and working proactively with a customer focused mindset? We are proud to be representing our client who is on the lookout for an sales coordinator on a hybrid basis to join the sales operation of this nationwide forward thinking company. This presents an excellent opportunity for future development into more senior roles within a very good stable niche industry. This desk-based role focuses on generating and sending quotes for new hardware systems, alongside acting proactively on inbound sales leads.
    Key Responsibilities:
    * Prepare and issue accurate quotes for hardware based on business customer requirements and predefined application templates.
    * Liaise with internal technical and sales teams to ensure quotes meet customer needs and company standards.
    * Maintain and update CRM systems with quote details, customer interactions, and follow-ups.
    * Process/respond to inbound sales enquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
    * Support the wider sales team with administrative tasks and customer communications.
    * Build product knowledge around the hardware systems and stay informed about new offerings and updates.
    * Ensure compliance with company pricing policies and approval processes.
    To be considered you will be :
    * Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook); experience with CRM systems is a plus.
    * Previous experience in a sales support or quoting role is desirable but not essential.
    * Interest in technology or electrical systems is advantageous.
    Attributes Required:
    * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    * Able to work accurately to strict deadlines
    * Able to manage time effectively
    * Able to communicate at all levels
    In return you can expect a basic starting salary in the region of £25,000- £27,000 per annum plus a very achieveable bonus of £5000 (pro rata monthly). The hours of work are 08:30 - 5:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:30 until 2 on a Friday. The position also comes with some excellent company related benefits including holidays that start at 26 days plus bank holidays
