MET Technician (Strip/Fit – Modern Vehicles, No Bonus Pressure)
£36,000 – £42,000 | Monday–Friday | 38 Hours | No Weekends
We’re recruiting for a well-run, quality-led bodyshop that focuses on doing repairs properly — not pushing volume.
If you’re an MET Technician who prefers a calm, organised workshop over a chaotic, target-driven environment, this could be a great fit.
The Role
* Full strip and refit of vehicles following repair work
* Mechanical, electrical, and trim work across modern cars and LCVs
* Working on a high proportion of hybrid and EV vehicles
* Supporting the repair process to ensure everything goes back together right first time
The Setup
* Around 15 vehicles per week across the workshop — no overload
* Clean, well-equipped environment with all tools and equipment provided
* Strong team culture with a focus on getting things right rather than rushing
What You’ll Get
* £36,000 – £42,000 depending on experience
* 38-hour week (Monday–Friday)
* Flexible working hours (typically between 7:30am – 5:30pm)
* No weekends
* 30 days holiday including bank holidays
* Christmas shutdown (approx. 10 days off using minimal holiday allowance)
* Quarterly company-paid social events
* Full PPE and ongoing training
