How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Salary £33,742 - £42,182 per annum FTE (Band 7, this will be pro-rated for part time)

    Who we need

    We are looking for a part time lecturer (point 6 over 3 days a week) with proven academic ability but also a wide range of Business industry knowledge, who wants to work in our diverse team to inspire a wide range of learners to pursue their own Business career. Do you have a strong Business background with proven results and are confident to deliver finance based lessons to our Business learners ?

    Are you looking to extend your teaching experience in an incredibly dynamic, exciting and challenging environment?

    The successful candidate will work within our highly successful Business curriculum and will lead and teach across our provision. You will be responsible for ensuring that courses meet learner needs, industry standards and awarding body requirements. You will have teaching experience and be able to demonstrate experience of working within quality systems and procedures.

    Who we're looking for

    The purpose of this role is to develop and teach on the Business-related programmes. You will be teaching across a range of levels and qualifications including BTEC and T Levels, the vocational equivalent to A Levels.

    · Do you have a strong Business background, are confident to deliver management theories and finance based content to young ‘non’ managers, with proven results?

    · Are you looking for a part time role to extend your teaching experience in an incredibly dynamic, exciting and challenging environment?

    The successful candidate will work within our highly successful Business curriculum and will lead and teach across our provision.
