How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Composite Trimming & Assembly Technician – Night Shift

    Location: Berkshire
    Salary: Up to £50,000 (DOE) + 33% night shift premium
    Shift: Night Shift | Monday – Thursday | 6:00pm – 4:30am
    Type: Permanent, Full-Time

    The Role

    We are recruiting a Composite Trimming & Assembly Technician to join the night shift production team. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality composite components to demanding motorsport and automotive customers.

    This role suits an experienced, self-motivated trimmer who is comfortable working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.

    Key Responsibilities
    Trimming, fitting, assembling, and bonding composite components

    Working with structural and non-structural carbon fibre parts

    Interpreting technical drawings and customer specifications

    Ensuring all work meets quality and delivery requirements

    Supporting night shift production targets and deadlines

    Maintaining high standards of workmanship and housekeeping

    Skills & Experience Required
    4–5+ years’ experience in composite trimming and assembly

    Background in motorsport, automotive, or aerospace environments

    Strong experience working from technical drawings and complex specifications

    Knowledge of multiple composite materials and manufacturing processes

    Comfortable working as part of a small night shift team

    Self-starter with a proactive, quality-focused mindset
