Welder - Contract Position

Location: Lincoln

Employment Type: Contract (Inside IR35)

Duration: 6 months rolling

Belcan Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Welder to support fabrication and assembly activities on a major engineering programme based in Lincoln. This position involves high‑quality welding of pipe assemblies and fabrications, working to strict industry standards and supporting wider build activities as required.

The Role

Welding of pipe assemblies and fabrications to required standards, including special‑order specifications.
Completing Casing Build rectification work where required.
Inspection of ALL manufactured welds to ensure full compliance and quality.
Supporting pipefitting activities in line with departmental agreements.
Performing tack welding to assist pipefitting work when appropriate.
Working in accordance with WPS 4000, WPS 4001 and WPS 4002.

About You

Proven welding experience within a fabrication, engineering or heavy‑industry environment.
Ability to work to defined welding procedures and specifications.
Flexible to support additional pipefitting tasks.
Strong quality focus with excellent attention to detail.
Reliable, team‑oriented and committed to safe working practices.
