How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are actively recruiting for a Brake Press Setter/Operator to join our clients busy team based in Tamworth.

    This role involves working as part of the production team to deliver high quality components, mainly for the rail industries, with a right first time philosophy

    * The successful Press Brake Setter must have previous experience working with Amada brake presses

    * You will be able to demonstrate that you can produce components from drawing / planning route cards to the highest quality, and within the routed time

    * Show a proactive and innovative approach to supporting the team, thrive on problem solving and have a natural desire to contribute to continuous improvement within the team

    * You will be able to interpret technical drawings and use hand held inspection equipment such as height gauges and vernier calipers

    Working hours:

    * Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm

    * Friday 7am-12pm

    An immediate start is available for the successful Brakepress Setter

    £15.00 - £16.00 per hour
