    Job description

    Do you have experience working on Heavy Diesel Engines? Are you looking for your next career move in to a booming industry? Then this opportunity is for you.

    Position Summary:
    Working in a workshop attached to a larger operational facility this role will be to strip, service and rebuild heavy diesel engines as part of a refurbishment project. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
    *Full strip of engine including turbos, gaskets and sump
    *Use hand and power tools to strip/fit component parts of the engine body
    *Conduct visual inspection of component parts such as gaskets, seals, values and injectors
    *Rebuild of engine including post rebuild inspections to verify integrity and performance
    *Fault finding and rectification as required

    Person Profile:
    *NVQ Level 3 within a relevant engineering/mechanical discipline is required
    *Experience with diesel engines preferably Cummins
    *Experience completing full strips and rebuilds of heavy diesel engines

    Shifts: Monday - Thursday
    Hours Per Week: 40
    Hourly Rate: £18.86 -20.50 PAYE dependant on experience (Umbrella rates available)
