Salary dependent on experience and qualifications. Higher rates are reserved for candidates with substantial experience and/or relevant training such a recognised Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). Pay is determined in line with school expectations and Agency Worker Regulations (AWR), where applicable.
About the Role
Teach Now is recruiting two dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join a highly regarded and inclusive primary school in Camden. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and community-focused environment where inclusion and pupil wellbeing are at the heart of everything.
You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils with additional needs, helping them access learning and develop both academically and emotionally. The role may involve 1:1 support, small group interventions, and in-class assistance.
Requirements
• Experience supporting children in a primary or SEN setting
• Knowledge of needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH or speech and language difficulties
• Calm, patient and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
