TeacherActive is thrilled to work with a private day nursery located in south Leeds. The nursery provide a unique learning environment that supports the children as they learn and gives them different opportunities to explore and play. They boast several different areas designed to support the children as they learn and develop new skills, including a sensory room and extensive outdoor area.
The nursery are currently searching for a Nursery Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis. The ideal applicant will have previous experience caring for children aged 5 and under, and will have a good understanding of the EYFS and its requirements. The successful Nursery Assistant will join the team in providing a safe and secure environment for the children to thrive, helping support them throughout their learning and development.
The successful Nursery Assistant will:
Have a good understanding of the EYFS & the Early Years curriculum
Be excited to join a welcoming team and develop their own skills as a Nursery Assistant
Be able to provide 2 professional references, one of which from an Early Years / Educational setting.
