An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator/ Receptionist to join a Secondary School located in Sunderland.
A Secondary School in which is situated in Sunderland is looking for an Administrator to join their team. This post is going to be a long-term position, starting as a temporary position.
As an admin assistant you will undertake:
Reception duties, answering general telephone calls, face to face enquiries and signing in visitors.
Assist with pupil first aid/welfare duties and liasing with parents.
Assisting with arrangements for visits by school nursers, photographers etc.
Assist in arrangements for school trips, events etc.
Maintain Manual and computerised records.
Sort and distribute mail.
Undertake general financial administration such as processing orders, collecting money and undertaking basic book keeping such as petty cash.
Applicants need to have:
Experience of using SIMS (essential)
Be passionate and dedicated to their job
Strong communication skills
Attention to detail
A desire to make a positive difference the pupils they work with.
