How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Warehouse Operator
    Swansea
    Part time 20 hour week
    £13.45 Per Hour

    The Role
    We are looking for a warehouse operator to join our team and work within the dispatch department. You will work Part-time Monday - Friday from 12:30PM - 04:30PM. The role will be temporary with view to becoming permanent for the right person.
    The key responsibilities will include;

    Printing and organising picking lists from our ERP system based on delivery priority
    Picking products accurately from warehouse locations using picking lists
    Packing customer orders securely and preparing them for courier collection
    Labelling parcels and ensuring shipments are correctly documented
    Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries when required
    Checking orders for accuracy before dispatch
    Helping maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
    Assisting with stock organisation and general warehouse duties
    Supporting the warehouse team to ensure orders are dispatched on time
    You will be working as part of a small team of three, so a willingness to help wherever needed is important.  
    Requirements
    The successful applicant will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

    Good attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking
    Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and lifting boxes
    Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
    Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
    Comfortable working as part of a small team
    Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience is required
