About the Role
We are an established and growing vehicle repair business with a strong reputation for quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Panel MET Technician to join our fast-paced team.
This is a key role within the business, responsible for ensuring vehicle repairs are completed to manufacturer and industry standards, while maintaining efficiency, safety, and quality at all times.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out repairs on motor vehicles in line with manufacturer and industry standards

Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high-quality standard
*
Inspect and report on vehicle structure and paintwork
*
Remove, refit, and store vehicle components safely
*
Carry out panel alignment and associated repairs
*
Complete filler work to a high standard (P180 finish, pinhole checks)
*
Apply underseal, weld-through primers, and anti-corrosion treatments
*
Perform quality control checks and sign off repairs at each stage
*
Identify and report additional damage not previously noted
*
Follow repair methods and ensure documentation is present and understood
*
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment
*
Ensure vehicle protection (seat covers, mats, etc.) is always in place
Requirements
*
Relevant motor manufacturer qualifications and experience
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Current AOM009 welding certificate (or BS equivalent)
*
Experience with MIG brazing, spot welding, rivet bonding, and high-strength steels
*
Light MET qualification (ATA or equivalent)
*
Bonding certification
*
Willingness to undertake further training as required
