How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    ·Pumping station improvements
    ·Screening systems

·PLC/SCADA upgrades including hardware and software replacement

    Key Responsibilities
    Project Delivery
·Manage projects across design, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning
·Ensure delivery is on time, within budget, and aligned with industry standards
    Stakeholder Management
·Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies
·Engage with major water companies and ensure successful project outcomes
    Technical Oversight
·Oversee all engineering elements (Mechanical, Electrical, ICA & Civils)
·Review and approve GAs, P&IDs, FDS documents, control philosophies, and PLC/SCADA designs
    Safety, Health, Environment & Quality
·Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and ISO 45001/14001/9001
·Promote a strong safety culture on all projects
    Financial Management
·Manage project budgets, forecasts, variations, and compensation events
·Maintain strong commercial oversight throughout the project lifecycle
    Construction & Commissioning
    ·Oversee installation and commissioning phases
·Prepare RAMS, programmes, CPPs, schedules, and full documentation packs
·Resolve site issues and technical challenges

    What You'll Need
    Essential
·Experience in water and/or wastewater treatment projects
·Strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, ICA, or Civils engineering
·Understanding of Water Industry Standards (WIMES)
    ·Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts
·Experience with risk, quality, and change management
    ·Excellent planning and organisational skills
·Stakeholder and multidisciplinary team management experience
