How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Electrical Site Manager (Nights) – Hyperscale Data Centre – West London

    We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join a leading M&E contractor on a hyperscale data centre project in West London, working night shifts.

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong reputation across commercial, data centre, and pharmaceutical sectors, and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects across London, offering the potential for continued work beyond the initial contract.

    The Role:

    As Electrical Site Manager, you will take responsibility for managing all electrical works on-site during night shifts, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.

    Key duties include:

    * Overseeing and coordinating electricians and subcontractors on night shifts

    * Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, quality, and safety standards

    * Managing site documentation, RAMS, and permits

    * Liaising with the day team, project managers, and other trades to ensure smooth handovers

    * Monitoring progress and resolving on-site issues proactively

    * Maintaining strict adherence to health and safety regulations

    Requirements:

    * Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager on large-scale construction projects

    * Previous data centre experience is highly desirable

    * Strong leadership and team management skills

    * SMSTS or SSSTS, and ECS/CSCS card required

    * Excellent communication and organisational abilities

    * Ability to work effectively on night shifts
