Location: Cambuslang, Glasgow
Pay: £12.45 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 6am till 2pm
We are hiring a Yard Assistant to join a busy and dynamic factory team in Glasgow.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be working outdoors taking responsibility for the yard area of a busy construction manufacturing business. Key duties will include:
Working outdoors in all weather conditions
Keeping the yard clean, organised and free from hazards
Perform general upkeep such as sweeping, clearing debris and maintaining a safe area
Gathering packaging materials returned from site removing any non-recyclable material
Safely operate the compactor to compress recyclable materials ensuring correct loading procedures utilised
