Job Description

People Dynamix Education are currently recruiting an experienced and reliable Caretaker to support a school site in the Wirral area.

This is a hands-on role responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, security, and general upkeep of the school premises, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for staff and students.

Key Responsibilities

Opening and closing the school site

Carrying out general maintenance and basic repairs

Ensuring the premises are safe, secure, and well-presented

Setting up rooms for events, meetings, and school activities

Monitoring health and safety across the site

Liaising with contractors and reporting any issues

Requirements

Previous caretaking or site maintenance experience (essential)

Good understanding of health & safety procedures

Ability to carry out basic repairs and maintenance tasks

Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
