My client is a fast-growing, award-winning Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering and Transport Planning consultancy delivering projects across residential, commercial and care sectors. You will join a collaborative team working on schemes from early appraisal through to construction, supporting a wide range of clients including developers, contractors and local authorities.
In this Senior Civil Engineer role, you will be:
·Developing and managing complex technical designs across multiple projects
·Project managing schemes from pre-application through to condition discharge and construction
·Designing drainage systems, highway layouts and S278/S38 schemes within a civil engineering design team
·Managing team resources and coordinating workloads to ensure high-quality delivery
·Preparing and managing project budgets and writing fee proposals
·Reviewing junior engineers' reports, designs and drawings, providing technical guidance
·Attending client meetings and site visits, building strong working relationships
·Managing design risks and embedding health, safety and sustainability principles into your work
·Supporting business development activities and identifying opportunities to bring new work into the team
To be considered for this Senior Civil Engineer position, you will ideally have:
·Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status or be working towards professional accreditation
·A degree or HND in Civil Engineering
·Strong experience delivering drainage, highways and infrastructure schemes
·Experience working with local authorities, developers and architects
·Proficiency in AutoCAD and Site 3D (or equivalent software)
·Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while supporting others
Your salary will be £45,000 - £53,000 per year dependent on experience, reflecting your capability as a Senior Civil Engineer.
