PERMANENT POSITION

We are seeking a skilled Plater to join our client in Ripley, Derbyshire. You'll be instrumental in the manufacturing of bespoke precision components and contributing to high-quality engineering projects across a range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

* Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

* Marking out, cutting material and producing weld preps

* Operate fabrication equipment such as guillotines, press brakes, rollers, and grinders

* Working to tight tolerances and specific measurements

* Inspect finished products for quality assurance and compliance with specifications

Qualifications & Experience:

* Proven experience in plating within an engineering or manufacturing environment

* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Fabrication & Welding or equivalent certification preferred

* Ability to read and understand technical drawings

* Skilled in MIG welding would be a bonus
