How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Day Programme Facilitator
    Location: Dover
    Salary: £19,200
    Vacancy Type: Permanent, Part Time
    About The Role
    We are looking for a passionate and motivated Day Programme Facilitator (Part Time, 28 hours) to join our community drug and alcohol service across East Kent.
    This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults affected by substance dependency to make positive, lasting changes through a structured community day rehabilitation programme.
    Working within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, you will deliver the Forward Trust’s Substance Dependency Treatment Programme based on the 12 Step approach, helping service users build the skills, resilience and confidence needed for long-term recovery.
    This is a varied and hands-on role combining group facilitation, one-to-one support, assessments and case management, with delivery taking place both face-to-face and online to ensure accessibility across the region.
    What you’ll be doing:
    As a Day Programme Facilitator, you will:
    * Manage a caseload of service users engaging with the day programme
    * Deliver structured group sessions and 1:1 recovery interventions
    * Complete assessments, psychometrics and support admissions to the programme
    * Support individuals to develop clear and achievable recovery pathways
    * Work closely with Recovery Workers and partner agencies across East Kent
    * Promote the day programme and support referrals into the service
    * Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management records
    * Contribute to a positive and strong recovery culture
    About you:
    We are looking for someone who is compassionate, organised and committed to supporting people to achieve transformational change. You will be confident facilitating groups, building relationships and working as part of a team.
    Ideally, you will have:
    * Experience working in substance misuse, recovery, health, social care or a related field
    * Experience supporting individuals with complex or multiple needs
    * Strong communication and engagement skills
    * Good organisation and time management skills
    * A flexible and proactive approach
    * A commitment to safeguarding, quality and continuous professional development
