How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with autism, ensuring they access the curriculum and engage in learning.
Support students in mainstream lessons, assisting them with key subjects and helping with their integration into the broader school environment.
Work closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure students’ needs are met and progress is tracked.
Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
    Key Requirements:

Strong awareness and understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly autism.
Passion for supporting students and a commitment to making a positive impact on their educational experience.
Resilience and adaptability in managing the diverse challenges that may arise in the classroom.
Solid understanding of the secondary school curriculum and the ability to support students in core subjects.
Previous experience working with students with SEND or additional needs is highly desirable.
    What We Offer:

    Competitive daily rate of £99-105.
Ongoing professional development and CPD opportunities.
A supportive and collaborative working environment.
The chance to make a real difference in the lives of students with autism.
This role is to start ASAP, so if you’re ready to make a positive impact in a secondary school setting, please apply now
