    Job description

    Our Panel Wirers have the ability to layout equipment and produce basic wiring, working to Company's process standards and procedures.

    Reporting to the Team Leader, key accountabilities of the role include:

    * Reading schematic drawings, G/A’s and CDR’s to identify components.

    * Must be competent at stripping and crimping cables from 0.75mm to 120mm using hand tools and machinery.

    * Organising your own workload, prioritising work effectively.

    * Practising good housekeeping at all times and organising the work area effectively.

    * Produce basic wiring in a uniformed manner, working to clear instructions, process standards and operating procedures.

    * Capable of highlighting potential issues to team leaders and suggesting rational corrective/preventative actions.

    * Capable and willing to transfer skills and knowledge to colleagues when requested.

    * Responsible for achieving required output including productivity, quality and agreed targets.

    * Operate and have control of Kanban and consumable stock levels.

    Essential skills:

    * Good communication will be vital to the effective and efficient running of the area.

    * The candidate should show a willingness to learn and/or teach others.

    * Previous experience in a similar role will be important
