Material Planner – Leeds
Our client is looking for an experienced Material Planner to manage end‑to‑end inventory and production planning within our Electrification – Smart Buildings division.
Key Responsibilities of the Material Planner
Manage vendor portfolio and full supply chain/inventory lifecycle
Maintain inventory parameters within the ERP system
Work closely with Buyers, Operations, and internal teams to support material availability
Analyse inventory performance, identify excess/obsolete stock, and drive improvements
Produce weekly/monthly planning and inventory reports
Create production schedules, release work orders, and run daily plant‑level MRPAbout You
Strong knowledge of manufacturing planning, MRP, production scheduling, and inventory control
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP desirable)
Skilled in Excel
Excellent communication, analytical ability, and attention to detail
Proven track record of improving processes
