This largely populated Primary School boasts outstanding sports facilities and offers opportunities both inside and outside of lessons to promote student’s flourish personally and academically.
The Primary School is looking to take on an eager Teaching Assistant / TA until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will be working in the Early Years supporting the classroom teacher to achieve high levels of engagement and prosper for each pupil. Your daily activities will include literacy and numeracy sessions as well as some arts and craft exercises and you will be responsible for helping pupils on a 1:1 basis or in a small group. This role will give you great job satisfaction and will enhance your skills to be an excellent Teaching Assistant / TA.
The successful Teaching Assistant / TA will have:
Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / TA qualification OR 6 month experience in an educational establishment
Extensive experience working with Early Years children
Great listening skills to understand the Children's needs
Ability to remain calm under pressure and act professionally
Excellent communication skills
